Lipton kicks off new campaign

LIPTON, recently kicked off the “Lipton Happy Happy Joy Joy” roadshow, aimed at introducing tea enthusiasts to the Lipton milk tea range.

Lipton milk tea is a drink that packs a punch, comprising all the Lipton goodness: bolstering concentration, improving reaction speed and stimulating metabolism.

All variants of the Lipton milk tea are a delicate fusion of black tea and milk, and come in three flavours: Original, Gold and Vanilla.

“Every sip of the Lipton Milk Tea is aimed at creating a happy moment, to bring the Lipton brand experience of a rainbow of joy in every cup to the consumer,” said Unilever (M) Holdings food director Joseph Tan.

“We found that the roadshow campaign theme fits as it takes less than a minute to enjoy a bit of happiness and that moment of bliss may be anywhere and any time of the day,” said Tan.

“With such strong loyalty and brand equity, we see great potential for Lipton to further expand its reach in Malaysia with the Lipton milk tea,” he added.

The promotion price for the Lipton milk tea is RM12 per polybag, RM5 per box for Original and RM7 per box for Gold and Vanilla range if purchased at the roadshow.

The Lipton team also unveiled the Lipton Mobile, a yellow four-wheel-drive which will be used during the two-month campaign which runs until March 22.

Guests at the roadshows are welcome to participate in fun and games to win iPods, movie tickets and dining vouchers worth RM100 from 11am-4pm.

The Lipton roadshow had made its stops at Lot 10, Bukit Bintang on Feb 7, Jusco Maluri, Cheras on Feb 8, Sunway Pyramid, Bandar Sunway on Feb 14, and One Utama, Bandar Utama on Feb 15.

It will be at Pertama Complex on Feb 21, Ampang Park on Feb 22, Ampang Point, on Feb 28, Bangsar Village II on March 1, Alam Sentral in Shah Alam on March 7, and SACC Mall in Shah Alam on March 8.

The Lipton Mobile will then make its way to Queensbay Mall, Penang on March 14 and Tesco, Penang on March 15, while the last two roadshow venues are at AEON Tebrau City in Johor Baru on March 21 and Plaza Pelangi, Johor Baru on March 22.
