Pakistan and Indian Junior hockey teams have qualified for the final of the Gentling 4-Nation Junior Hockey Cup in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

On the second day of play, Pakistan defeated hosts Malaysia by 3-1. Muhammad Taufeeq scored a goal in 28th minute on penalty corner, Muhammad Ateeq and Bilal Mohsin scored one goal in 42nd and one in the 53rd minutes. Saari Faizal scored the only goal for Malaysia in 48th minute on penalty corner.

India defeated Singapore 12-0 and qualified for the final match. Pakistan will face India on Friday in the last league match, while the final match will be played on 15 March.

This is a video that everyone should see. For those of you who aren’t familiar with who Dr. Randy Pausch is, the short story goes like this:

He is a happily married man with three very young children. He spent years working for Disney as an Imagineer who helped them develop some of their theme park attractions. He then went on to teach at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pennsylvania.

Abruptly, his life took a turn for the worse when he got cancer and fought it off after years of treatment. The cancer has since returned and has near-totally corupted several vital organs leaving him with mere months to live.

This video is his shortened speech on how not even death can bring this man down and how the dreams he sought to come true can inspire us all.

This video has changed my life and I will NEVER forget it. Will it do the same for you?

KUALA LUMPUR: Beribu-ribu warga kota terperangkap sama ada dalam bangunan, di jalan raya atau di stesen bas dan LRT berikutan hujan lebat sejak jam 3 petang yang menyebabkan banyak jalan ditenggelami air antara satu hingga dua meter.

Di Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra (PWTC), kira-kira 1,000 pengunjung dan kakitangan yang bertugas di tingkat 2, bangunan itu terperangkap berikutan bekalan elektrik terputus serta beberapa jalan di sekitar bangunan itu ditenggelami air.

Dear Malaysian Politicians,

Please stop the power chase, call for a truce and focus on the economy.

I do not claim to speak on behalf of all Malaysians, but I have strong convictions that many share my sentiments.

Our concern today is not who rules the country or heads the state governments but the looming bad economy.

Whether Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Rakyat leads, it is meaningless if Malaysians have no job to go to, no money to pay rent and no means to put food on the table.
